The Town of Nolensville is chartered as a Manager-Commissioner form of government. The Board of Commissioners is the policy making body, while the Town Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer.
The Nolensville Town Commission is made up of five people elected to make policy decisions for Nolensville Town government. The Town Commissioners appoint the Mayor and Vice Mayor for two-year terms. The commissioners enact ordinances and resolutions. Unless otherwise rescheduled, the Town Commission meets on the first Thursdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Nolensville Town Hall, located at 7218 Nolensville Road. Special meetings, work sessions, and workshops are held at various times as needed.
All citizens are welcome to attend the meetings of the Board of Commissioners and may speak up to three (3) minutes per individual, and groups can defer time to a single representative up to a maximum of 12 minutes. Persons wishing to speak on the items during meetings shall sign up for public comment on the sheet provided at the meeting immediately prior to the commencement of the meeting.
