Shout out to our Public Works Department for putting in the work to prepare for this weekend’s winter weather. All four Town trucks are fueled, equipped, and ready to begin plowing and salting early Saturday morning as conditions require.

The Town’s Snow Removal Route List covers approximately 19.7 miles and is based on roadway grade and essential connectivity. Residents can view the route list and interactive map on our website: https://www.nolensvilletn.gov/o/ton/page/public-works-faq

As we head into the weekend, please keep the following safety tips in mind:
đź”· Avoid parking on the street so plows can move safely through neighborhoods.
đź”· Stay off the roads unless travel is necessary. If you must travel, keep an emergency kit in your vehicle with blankets, water, a flashlight, and warm clothing.
đź”· Keep space heaters at least three feet away from anything flammable, and never use ovens or stovetops to heat your home.
đź”· Test smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, and check on elderly neighbors or those without reliable heating.
đź”· Never operate a generator indoors due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Residents are encouraged to take precautions and stay safe as winter weather approaches.
