ROAD UPDATE | 12:47 p.m.: Crews are working tirelessly to keep Nolensville’s roads safe. Most main arterial roads are passable, but residents are urged to stay home and use extreme caution if travel is necessary. Remember, roadways may look clear of snow, but ice is still likely.

Since our last update, Public Works has completed a full run of the snow removal routes and is now on their second pass. They’ve also removed 15 trees from roadways.

Thank you for your patience as our teams continue this critical work.

Freezing Temperature Tips: Over the next few weeks, cold temperatures are expected in Nolensville. Taking a few preventative steps now can help protect your home and reduce the risk of frozen pipes or fire sprinkler systems.

🔹 Set all in-home thermostats to maintain a minimum temperature of 60°F.
🔹 Make sure your heating system is working properly and delivering heat to all areas of your home.
🔹 Inspect attic spaces for exposed piping that may be vulnerable to freezing. Ensure insulation is properly installed and replace any insulation that is damaged, missing, or displaced.
🔹 Check doors, windows, and foundation vents, and seal or close any unnecessary openings to keep cold air out.
🔹Know where your main water shutoff valve is located.
🔹 Identify the shutoff valve for your fire sprinkler system and ensure you have the proper tool or screwdriver readily available.

A little preparation can help prevent major damage. Stay warm and stay safe, Nolensville.
