2001-10 Beer Board Meeting
Nolensville Beer Board Hearing
Monday, October 15, 2001, Town Of Nolensville, Town Hall, 6:00 P.M.

Vice-Mayor/Chairman Tommy Dugger opened the meeting at 6:01.
 
In attendance were Vice-Mayor/Chairman Tommy Dugger, Mayor Charles F. Knapper, Aldermen Larry Felts, Gail Phillips, and Joe Rositano. Recorder Cindy Lancaster and applicant representing Tri-Star Energy, Mr. Thomas Earl Hedrick.
 
Chair Dugger asked the applicant if he would like to address the Board. Mr. Hedrick stated that this was a merger, with the new owners being comprised of Parman Corporation, Kimbro Oil and Motiva Enterprises. The new company is Tri-Star Energy.
 
Mayor Knapper addressed the applicant by asking his role in the company. Mr. Hedrick stated that he was the Regional Manager. Mayor Knapper additionally asked if there was any plan to change the time that beer was sold? Mr. Hedrick stated that everything would remain the same. Mayor Knapper asked at what time do you currently begin selling beer on Sunday at this location? Mr. Hedrick stated that whatever time Williamson County dictates. Some locations are 12:00 with others beginning at 1:00.
 
Alderman Rositano asked if this establishment would maintain the same type of stringent guidelines in regards to carding for alcohol. He noted that currently he has observed the cashiers adhering to excellent standards in this endeavor. Mr. Hedrick stated yes.
 
Mayor Knapper noted that Nolensville ordinance dictates Sunday beer sales cannot begin until 1:00 and this ordinance supersedes Williamson County law.
 
Chair Dugger asked when would ownership change? Mr. Hedrick stated as soon as the permit was obtained.
 
Alderman Rositano made a motion to approve the license, Alderman Phillips seconded and this passed unanimously.
 
The Beer Board adjourned at 6:05.
