Nolensville Fire & Rescue
This week, the department responded to 45 calls of service. Calls included a small kitchen fire, an animal rescue, and an extrication of two patients from a vehicle accident.
The department continues to be involved in the community by participating in the Nolensville Little League parade and providing CPR training to multiple organizations.
The construction drawings for Fire Station One have started and should be completed by the end of the year.
Public Works Department
This week, the Public Works Department completed repairs on one Nolensville Police Department vehicle. Both front axles were replaced at a labor savings of $800 compared to dealership labor charges.
The department also cleared 7 storm drains at a savings of $6,700 compared to previous contractor costs.
Finance Department
The creation of the annual operating budget represents a significant effort across the departments, in conjunction with the Finance Department and the Town Manager’s office. This year, we have published the 2nd Edition of the Town of Nolensville FY 2023 Annual Budget Book. The goal is to prepare a comprehensive budget package that meets the criteria of the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award program.
