Town Manager Weekly Update

Town Manager Weekly Update - Friday, January 21, 2022

Fire Department

This week, Nolensville Fire & Rescue responded to 21 calls of service. Citizens stayed in during the bad weather and the department appreciated that.

The department interviewed prospective architect firms this week for the design of fire station one.

Police Department

At about noon on Wednesday, three vehicles were burglarized in the 7100 block of Nolensville Road. Nolensville Police Department detectives are following up on these cases. There are no witnesses or leads at this time.

This week, the department has been going through their install and training for their new electronic Records Management System (RMS). This enables officers to work more efficiently when compiling an incident report. They can share information with the Sheriff’s Office and it allows their reporting sent to the TBI to be done immediately and automatically instead of “cut and paste” for each individual report. There are many more features that will be important to their daily operations and investigations. A go live date is projected for February 15.

Engineering Department

This past week, the Engineering Department staff met with Williamson County Schools representatives to discuss traffic issues and possible solutions at the Nolensville Elementary School and the Nolensville High School campuses.
