Town Manager

Want to stay up to date with Project Updates from the Town of Nolensville, please follow the link HERE.

After a year and a half of working through the legal process, the Town of Nolensville closed on the former Greystone HOA park property last week. Maintenance crews have begun clean-up and we anticipate a future meeting with residents to solicit ideas on how to redevelop its use.

Town Staff had their kick-off meeting with STV Engineering consultants regarding the Rocky Fork Road widening project. The group will begin by collecting data on existing conditions. There are multiple planned public engagement opportunities. The first, of which, is planned for February 2023.

Nolensville Fire & Rescue

Nolensville Fire & Rescue responded to 27 calls for service this week.

One member of the department completed advanced trench rescue training.

The department provided Santa’s float this week in the parade

Nolensville Fire & Rescue hosted a Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) class this week.

The preemployment process is ongoing for the six new fire fighters.

Please take care this holiday season. Cooking fires are the number one cause of home fires.

Nolensville Police Department

The Nolensville Police Department participated in the Town of Nolensville Holiday Parade.  The department had a vehicle in the parade, and assisted with traffic control before, during, and after the parade. Assistant Chief Michael Terns was selected as a person of honor to light the Holiday Tree.

The Nolensville Police Department is in full-swing with Operation Front Porch.  The Department has received, and kept safe, several packages for our citizens.

This week, Nolensville Police Department has conducted departmental training on officer-involved-shootings.  This training will help officers work scenes when an officer is involved in a shooting or other critical incident.  The Department also conducted a 36 hour block of training for two new officers to the department. This training is part of their Field Training Program (FTP), and it is designed immerse officers in departmental policy, state law, constitutional issues, etc.  Officers who successfully complete this training will go on to work with a patrol shift to further hone the skills they’ve learned.

Nolensville Police Department is completing the certification process to join the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

This initiative is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice as a way to collect and address Cyber Tips as they pertain to the threats to our children.
