Citizens Police Academy

Citizen's Police Academy
The NPD Citizen’s Police Academy offers residents a “behind the scenes” look at police operations. You will get to know our command staff and officers, gain an appreciation for the challenging issues facing police today, while having the opportunity to present your own concerns and questions regarding the direction of public safety in your Town. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for announcements when the application period is open.

Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older
  • No felony convictions
  • Nolensville resident
  • Limited background check
  • Only apply if you can make a commitment to attend each class.

Important: While completion of this course gives citizens an understanding of the workings of the Nolensville Police Department, it does not make a participant a certified law enforcement officer, nor is it designed to train citizens to perform law enforcement duties.
