🚨 Predatory Towing Alert 🚨
Over the past few weekends, visitors to the Nolensville Farmers Market have reported being charged $375 drop fees after parking in the nearby retail lot—well above the $100 maximum allowed by Tennessee law.
We’ve spoken with the wrecker driver and notified the District Attorney’s Office due to a potential violation of state law.
If you were affected:
📞 Contact Nolensville PD
📸 Bring any receipts, photos, or video
📝 Be prepared to give a brief statement
We respect a property owner's right to remove vehicles from their property. But not to violate the law.

The Nolensville Police Department is proud to announce that Detective Frank Marusa has successfully graduated from the prestigious National Public Safety Innovation Academy (NIA), held in Polk County, Florida.
The NIA is an intensive eight-week executive-level training program designed for law enforcement professionals preparing to assume or currently serving in command-level positions. This advanced academy equips mid-level managers and future agency leaders with the knowledge, tools, and strategies necessary to effectively navigate the evolving demands of public safety leadership.
Throughout the course, Detective Marusa engaged in cutting-edge instruction led by nationally recognized presenters and subject matter experts. The academy focused on leadership development, administrative excellence, and innovative approaches to policing in today’s complex public safety environment. The training is designed not only to enhance individual leadership skills but also to bring long-term benefits to participating agencies and their communities.
“The entire department is proud of Detective Marusa’s dedication and commitment to professional growth,” said Chief Dale Armour. “His successful completion of this academy reflects both his personal drive and our department’s focus on investing in leadership development to better serve the Town of Nolensville.”
As law enforcement continues to adapt to new technologies, emerging trends, and the expectations of the communities they serve, programs like NIA ensure that public safety leaders remain equipped to lead with integrity, innovation, and resilience.
Congratulations to Detective Marusa on this outstanding achievement.
