The Town of Nolensville is deeply saddened by the passing of Don Swartz, whose dedication, expertise, and commitment to public service helped shape our community for more than two decades.
As the Town’s Engineer for over 20 years, Don played an instrumental role in guiding Nolensville through a period of tremendous growth and development. His knowledge, professionalism, and steady leadership contributed to countless projects that improved our infrastructure, strengthened our community, and helped prepare the Town for the future. Following a distinguished career of service, Don retired in 2024, leaving behind a lasting legacy of excellence and dedication.
Don’s impact can be seen throughout Nolensville, not only in the projects he helped bring to life, but also in the relationships he built with colleagues, elected officials, consultants, and residents. He was a trusted advisor, a respected professional, and a valued member of the Town family.
