The Town Events Advisory Committee (TEAC) provides recommendations to the Board of Commissioners on issues related to the development and accomplishment of public events intended to benefit the residents of Nolensville. This advisory committee works with Town staff to prioritizes and organizes the approval process for the use of public resources such as Police and Public Work.

The TEAC works with the Town to assist in developing a schedule of events. This advisory committee also assists with efforts to publicize and execute event logistics and recruit volunteers for events.

The TEAC consists of thirteen (13) Nolensville residents or business owners, who are appointed by the Board of Commissioners. The meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 4:30 p.m.

Town Events Advisory Committee 2023-2024 Accomplishments

  • In July of 2024, we celebrated our 17th Star Spangled Celebration.  We had the largest crowd yet!  We had food trucks, inflatables, family games, live music and fireworks!

  • In November of 2024, we had our 18th Veterans Day Celebration where we honored veterans with a parade through town.  Each veteran received a gift.

  • In December of 2023, we had our Hometown Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting.
