Administration/Town Manager

The Town of Nolensville is chartered as a Manager-Commissioner form of government. The Board of Commissioners is the policy making body, while the Town Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer.

The Town Manager is responsible for carrying out policies and ordinances set by the Board of Commissioners, gathering information and making recommendations to the Board, supervising Town departments, and preparing an annual budget.

The Assistant Town Manager/Project Manager under general administrative direction of the Town Manager, assists in coordinating and directing the activities and operations of all Town departments while overseeing and directing assigned programs and functions of the Town. They provide responsible and complex staff support to the Town Council and Town Manager and serve as acting Town Manager as required.

The creation of the annual operating budget represents a significant effort across the departments, in conjunction with the Finance Department and the Town Manager. This year, the Town published the 4th Edition of the Town of Nolensville FY 2024-2025 Annual Budget Book.
