Request a Copy of an Incident Report
Copies of incident reports may be available to individuals identified in the report. To request a copy, you may email reports@nolensvilletn.gov or submit a request form in person at Nolensville Police Headquarters. Please note, proof of identification is required to obtain a copy of a report. Reports are typically available within five (5) business days; however, availability may vary depending on the status of the case and applicable legal restrictions.
Request a Copy of a Traffic Accident Report
Any driver, owner, passenger, or their authorized agent or legal representative may request a copy of an accident report. Reports may be obtained from the Department of Safety and Homeland Security at www.purchasetncrash.gov. Please allow approximately seven (7) business days for report processing. The fee for each report is $10.00.
Public Record Requests
In accordance with the Tennessee Public Record Act (TPRA), certain records maintained by the Nolensville Police Department are considered public records and may be available for inspection or duplication. TPRA provides Tennessee citizens the right to access open public records that exist at the time of the request; however, records custodians are not required to compile information or create new records in response to the request.
Please note that T.C.A. § 10-7-504(a)(20)(C) authorizes agencies to charge for the redaction of confidential or private information.

File a Report
Nolensville Police Officers are available to respond to your location to complete police reports for non-emergency incidents. Officers can respond to your home, business, or other appropriate location, or reports may be taken at Police Headquarters.
If you are experiencing an emergency or a life-threatening situation, call 911 immediately.
For non-emergency incidents, please call 615-776-3640 to request an officer to respond and take a report. Examples include, but are not limited to, vehicle burglaries, identity theft, or ordinance violations.
Once a report is taken, you will be provided with a report number, which can be used to request a copy of the report through the Records Office. Please allow approximately seven (7) business days for report processing; timeframes may exceed seven (7) business days based on various factors.
The Nolensville Police Department’s Patrol Division also responds to traffic accidents and will document reports on-scene. If the accident involves injuries or any emergency circumstances, call 911 immediately. For non-emergency accident response, please call 615-776-3640 to request an officer.
