A Knoxbox is a secure way to lock up a key to your business or home, allowing only the fire department to gain entry into your premise without damaging any doors or windows in the event of an emergency. A knob does not grant the Nolensville Fire Department permission to enter at will.

To start the process of getting and installing a Knoxbox, you must first pick the box that meets your needs. Once you purchase the knoxbox, you can hang it from your door or contact us for additional locations to mount it. Once your Knoxbox is mounted, you will call us to come out and lock your key in the box. Our key is secured within our apparatus, requiring a unique code from our authorized members to remove the key and open your Knoxbox.

Commercial Knoxbox
A commercial knoxbox is required for businesses within Nolensville for after hour access incase of an emergency. If there is a separate key for riser rooms it is required to be in the box as well. Commercial Knoxbox should be mounted according to the instructions with the version of the box you purchased whether wall mounted or recessed. The location of the Knoxbox should be approved by the Fire Marshal or Nolensville Fire Department representative. Location is typically by the front door or the riser room, approximately 5 1/2 feet above the walking surface.

Home Knoxbox
A Residential Knoxbox is a high security key safe that is trusted and supported by Nolensville Fire & Rescue. They provide first responders access to your home in emergencies when people inside are unable to open the door or are not home.
