Petition for Wine Sales in Grocery Stores

On June 6, at the regular session meeting, the Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution supporting a referendum for wine in grocery stores on its election ballot for November 5. The action by the Board of Commissioners was motivated by recent announcements of two grocery chains, Publix and Kroger, who are in the process of building supermarkets in Nolensville. 

For a WIGS referendum to qualify for the November election, a defined number of registered Nolensville voters must sign a petition requesting the ballot measure. Residents who are interested in supporting this initiative, can participate in the following ways:

In person signature events
Star Spangled Celebration June 29th at Nolensville High School from 6-9pm

Drive Thru event July 12th from 4-8pm in the front parking lot of Nolensville Town Hall

Teams from TN Grocers will also be going door to door throughout Nolensville asking registered voters if they are interested in signing this petition.
