Members present:       Mayor Alexander, Ken Rucker, Tommy Dugger

Staff present:              Attorney Bob Notestine, Building Official Don Swartz

Chairman Rucker called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Tommy Dugger recused himself from voting.  Motion made to approve minutes from 5/8/14.  Motion passed unanimously.

CITIZEN COMMENTS:
None.

NEW BUSINESS:   

Consideration of a request to allow for a covered patio within the required rear yard setback located at 7012 Nolen Park Circle.

Aubrey Coopoer, applicant at 7012 Nolen Park Cl. expressed desire to build a cover over patio for shade.  Mr. Cooper explained that the lot is rather shallow in the back and that it backes up to open space.  The cover would extend over the existing patio.

Motion to approve variance made by Tommy Dugger bsed on unique lot size and shape and no harm to the general welfare.

Motion to approve variance seconded by Mayor Alexander.

Motion to approve passed unanimously.

Motion to adjourn made by Ken Rucker, seconded by Tommy Dugger.

Members present:       Mayor Alexander, Ken Rucker, Tommy Dugger, Wade Wakefield

Staff present:              Attorney Bob Notestine, Building Official Don Swartz

Chairman Ken Rucker called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Motion made to approve the October 10, 2013 minutes made by Tommy Dugger, seconded by Wade Wakefield.  The minutes were approved unanimously.

CITIZEN COMMENTS:
None.

NEW BUSINESS:   

Commissioner, Tommy Dugger, recused himself since he is on the Agenda.

A.  Consideration for a request to allow for an attached accessory residential dwelling located at 2260 Rolling Hills Dr.

B.  Variance request to allow the maximum allowed size for an attached accessory dwelling located at 2260 Rolling Hills Dr. from 600 Sq Feet to 1200 Sq Feet.
Property owner, Tommy Dugger, presented the case for the variance requests
There was some discussion among board members after which time.
Commissioner, Wade Wakefield, made a motion to approve the conditional use permit and Mayor Alexander seconded it.

Chairman, Ken Rucker, stated a motion had been made to allow a conditional use permit for an accessory dwelling at 2260 Rolling Hills.  Motion passed unanimously.

Mayor Alexander made motion to approve the variance request on the maximum allowable size for an attached accessory dwelling at 2600 Rolling Hills Dr for additional 600 square feet since there was no effect on public welfare.  Wade Wakefield seconded the motion.

Chairman, Ken Rucker, stated a motion had been made to approve the Variance request at 2260 Rolling Hills Dr.  Motion passed unanimously.
