Extra Patrol Request
If you are going on vacation or would like extra police patrols in your neighborhood or business, the NPD will “go the extra mile” as resources allow to accommodate your request. Please complete this brief form to submit your request.
The department will check your residence twice a day, once during the day shift and once during the night shift. They will check the perimeter of the home, including doors and windows and will report any suspicious activity to the homeowner.

If you have a planned house sitter to check on animals or to water plants, please let the department know in the “Special Instructions” section on the form.
