Vested Development

Development projects that were approved after January 1,2015 are considered "vested" according to Tennessee State Law.  This means developments are subject to the standards of the Zoning Ordinance in effect at the time the project was originally approved.  For vesting purposes, previous Zoning Ordinances are found below.  If you believe your project is vested in a previous ordinance any new submittals for the vested development should include documentation of the approval that was granted.
