Property Tax Freeze
An Amendment to the TN constitution was approved to allow for a freeze on property taxes for taxpayers 65 years of age or older. Under this program, qualifying homeowners will have the property taxes on their principal residence frozen at a base tax amount. One must requalify annually. Williamson County has approved a tax freeze for Williamson County property taxes. The Town of Nolensville has not adopted the tax freeze for Town property taxes.
