Public works currently has three employees.  Their duties include:

• Maintain condition of right-of-way – mowing and litter pick up
• Replace and install street signs
• General maintenance of town hall
• Aid Police Department with equipment maintenance
• Repair potholes
• Install seasonal banners
• Install and maintain holiday lights and decorations Maintain and repair city-owned vehicles and equipment, including police cars, utility vehicles and heavy equipment.

The town of Nolensville does not provide public trash pick up or removal. Service may be contracted privately.  Following is a list of some providers:
