The purpose of this board is to hear and decide appeals to the Town's storm water regulations, storm water ordinance, floodplain ordinance and penalties for violation of the Town’s storm water regulation and ordinance requirements. The board consists of eight members representing the following groups; Board of Mayor and Aldermen, current homeowner, engineering profession, agriculture profession, and residential/commercial development community. Each member is appointed by the Mayor for a three year term and is confirmed by the Board of Mayor and Alderman. The board meets, as needed, on the first Wednesday of each month. Authority of the board is based on T.C.A. 68-221-1106 and 13-7-201, Section 10 of the Town's Storm Water Ordinance and Chapter 3, Section 18-306 of the Town's Floodplain Ordinance.
